1. Our commitment
XR EXPERIENCES 2025, S.L. wants everyone to be able to find information and book on xrexperiences.es. As a small private company we fall outside the mandatory scope of Spanish Royal Decree 1112/2018 (public sector) and, because of our size, outside the accessibility obligations of Spanish Law 11/2023; even so, we use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA, and standard EN 301 549 as our reference.
2. Current status
This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 level AA. The assessment was carried out by ourselves, reviewing the code and design of the pages; it has not been audited by an external body.
What we have taken care of:
- Every page declares its language and is available in Spanish and English.
- Structure with headings, regions and menus identified for screen readers.
- Alternative text on informative images and labels on buttons and icons.
- Keyboard navigation in menus, dialogs, the booking calendar and forms (dialogs close with the Escape key).
- Layout that adapts to mobile and text zoom, and light text on a dark background with good contrast.
- Animations respect the system’s “reduce motion” setting.
3. Non-accessible content or limitations
- Some tour pages show looping, muted videos that start automatically and have no pause button (criterion 2.2.2).
- The interactive 3D reconstructions on the tour pages are operated with a mouse or finger and have no equivalent keyboard or screen reader alternative; the essential tour information is also available as text.
- Booking and payment are completed in a FareHarbor window, a third-party service whose accessibility we do not control. If you have any difficulty, you can book with us by WhatsApp, phone or email.
- The PDF dossiers for schools may not be tagged for screen readers. We will send them in another format on request.
- We have not yet tested the website with every combination of screen reader and browser.
About the tours themselves: the VR Old Town Tour is accessible for people with reduced mobility; the VR Alcazaba Tour is not, because of the monument’s slopes and steps. Ask us and we will find the best option for your group.

5. Preparation of this statement
This statement was prepared on 2 November 2026 through a self-assessment by XR EXPERIENCES 2025, S.L.. We will review it at least once a year and whenever we make significant changes to the website.
