The people behind the glasses
XR Experiences is a small team from Malaga: guides who tell the city’s story on foot and a studio that rebuilds in 3D what each place looked like centuries ago. Both tours on this site, the old town free tour and the Alcazaba visit, are made by us from start to finish.
The guides
A licensed guide and a black umbrella
Every tour is led by a guide licensed by the Regional Government of Andalusia. You’ll spot them by the black umbrella at the meeting point. Tours run in Spanish and in English.

How we work
History on foot, with stops in another era
The tour is a normal walk with a guide who tells the story. At some stops you put on virtual reality glasses and see that very spot as it was centuries ago: the Roman Theatre in use, the palaces of the Alcazaba, Picasso’s Malaga.

The studio
We make the scenes ourselves
Every virtual reality scene is modelled in 3D by our own team, people from the film and video game industries: researched, built and checked against the script. That’s why what you see in the glasses matches what the guide is telling you. The same studio works for museums, companies and schools.
